IMPORTANT NOTICE:  In accordance with Article XVI of Local 158’s bylaws, please be advised that an amendment to the bylaws has been presented to the Executive Board and will be voted on by the membership at this meeting.  The proposed amendment would delete paragraph (r) of section 2 of Article XVIII which currently reads:  “For all personnel subject to the Local Union’s hiring hall procedure (referral system) – No person shall circumvent the Local’s referral process by actively soliciting his/her own work in any way.”
