District 106 Training

The District 106 Training site is open to members of IUOE Local 158 in good standing as well as District 106 registered apprentices.

Apprenticeship is the process of learning a trade under the guidance of experienced journey workers. Our program provides hands-on training at one of our three training sites, classroom instruction, and paid on-the-job-training for our signatory contractors. Local 158’s robust training program teaches you everything you need to know to be a successful operating engineer. Each of our three districts has its own training site, instructors, and equipment.
