The IUOE Local 158 Charitable Trust awards one or more scholarships each year to deserving applicants. The scholarship is open to children of members in good standing who plan to continue their education after graduating high school. The winner(s) of the award may use their scholarship at any accredited college or university. The application process begins in March of each year. Check back soon to download the application!

The Bernie De Joseph Foundation was created in 2002 in memory of former Local 545 Business Manager Bernie De Joseph and rebranded in 2011 to the IUOE Local 158 Charitable Trust. Since its inception, the Foundation/Trust has donated more than $100,000 to worthwhile causes. We take immense pride in contributing to many great organizations.

The IUOE Local 158 Charitable Trust raises money through its annual Charity Golf Tournament held every September. In 2021, 132 golfers and sponsors came together to raise more than $35,000. Stay tuned for information about 2022’s tournament!
